Transpek Industry Limited, synonymous with Creative Chemistry, was set up in 1965 to manufacture transparent acrylic sheet — and it is from that first product that the name “Transpek” comes.
The company has expanded substantially over the decades since, establishing itself as a major chemical manufacturer and exporter. Our defining competency became the safe, controlled handling of chlorine and sulphur, and the indigenous development of processes for chlorinated chemicals — thionyl chloride first, then a broad family of acid and alkyl chlorides built on top of it.
Today Transpek manufactures products for agrochemical, polymer, pharmaceutical, dyestuff, flavour & fragrance and surfactant customers, and has been present in international markets for three decades.
Our corporate office is in Vadodara, Gujarat. All manufacturing takes place at our Ekalbara plant, 25 km away. Vadodara sits roughly 400 km from Nhava Sheva seaport and has its own Inland Container Depot, which simplifies export documentation and container movement for hazardous goods.
