Transpek Industry Limited began in 1965 making transparent acrylic sheet — which is where the name came from. Today we are a pioneer of thionyl chloride chemistry and the largest producer of thionyl chloride and acid chlorides in Asia outside Europe.
Transpek is synonymous with Creative Chemistry. Over six decades we moved from acrylic sheet into the chemistry that defines us now: the controlled handling of chlorine and sulphur, and the indigenous processes we developed for thionyl chloride and a wide family of acid and alkyl chlorides.
We are part of the Excel group of companies and adhere to its standards of corporate governance, ethics and safety. Our products serve agrochemical, polymer, pharmaceutical, dyestuff, flavour & fragrance and surfactant manufacturers — many of them multinationals we have supplied for three decades.
